As OPAM (FMV Isik University Center for Optimechatronics Research & Application), we purchased a 468 actuator DM with ACE Fast to be used on our adaptive optics system.

Alpao was not only compliant with all the specs and delivered the systems on time, but also was/still is kind enough to support us during integration phases and the modification of the software for the prism wavefront system.

I would also like to take this opportunity to extend my gratitude to Dintrono Fabien for his administrative support, and Charton Julien & Noel Xavier for their technical support.

Good value for money
Operating ALPAO DMs has worked out fine in our AO prototypes for SGL applications. The DMs are compact and provide large stroke at low control voltages. The new Gbit Ethernet interface option has been the right way to go for.
Shared ideas to improve have been taken up at ALPAO on their own, coming up today with high power coated DMs for even multi-spectral range in lasercom, allowing for multi-100 Gbps FSO uplinks toward space at both, 1064nm and 1550nm bands.
