J'ai commandé 2 pickguards début janvier 25....
AprÚs 2 mois d'attente, j'en reçoit un des deux commandés et il est de qualité moyenne avec un défaut de découpe que je vais pouvoir rectifier...
Cette société ne répond ni aux mails et ni au téléphone... c'est le pire service client que je connaisse... lorsque l'on commande chez eux, on ne peut qu'attendre et espérer...

I placed an order June 4, 2025. They took my Payment and emailed my invoice. Two weeks later I still did not receive a tracking number or any status update so I sent an email requesting this information and got NO REPLY. A week later I was still left in the dark so I sent another email. Once again, NO REPLY. I waited another couple days and sent a third email asking for a refund. "Davey" replied with," I apologize, I am away from the office ill and will be for the next few days.  My crew are working hard getting our orders out but we are running a bit late with everything.  I hope to be back to normal next week.  In the meantime, I am unable to answer emails and phone calls". Are they on an extended vacation or is this company a SCAM? If this was an automated response, why didn't I receive it following the first couple emails I sent? I should have read the reviews before i gave them my money because this seems to be an ongoing issue. If they are "away" for all these months and unable to ship their customers orders, how do they have the time to respond to all the negative reviews? I finally gave up and requested a refund through PayPal. I will never order anything from this company again. I'm leaving this review to warn others. I RECOMMEND YOU SHOP ELSEWHERE.

Ordered a birthday gift, and my card was charged, on 6/3/25. Have received zero correspondence from them. 6/15/25 I sent an email with my order number, asking for an order status update. No response. 6/23/25 I called them and got a generic recording to leave a message, which I did. They might have good products but I can't say since I've yet to receive the order I paid for. Currently waiting for a refund through PayPal. Buyer beware.

Davey, i really need your help. You need to call me back or answer my email with the tracking number of my order please cause i'm about to leave a bad review to share my "Greasy Groove" experience with everyone who need to know. I don't know what to think about the situation anymore...maybe you lack the staff to respond to your customers? It's very unpleasant to be left abandoned without a response.
1- I've sent you the original tracing of my G&L S500 pickguard for a custom pickguard by Canada post...no feedback from you....
2- So i finally decided to order a G&L Legacy pickguard from Greasy Groove and i'll make it fit on my G&L S500 myself... I NEVER RECEIVED IT. I wander why you didn't sent me the tracking number?
3- I've try to contact you by email and via your web site for the tracking number but no answer.
4- I've call to the phone number on your web site to speak with someone but no answer. The greeting on your message box isn't even personalized to Greasy Groove...it's really weird and not reassuring so i decided to make a last attempt to contact you before sharing my experience.
Please call me back to give me the tracking number of my order number #xxxxxxxxxx. So then i'll be able to contact Canada post for some explanations.

The order that you place got halted when they thought it was for a custom item. The item will be made early next week if that works for you. Business isn't only the part where you take my money, but it's also starting the sale. Every review like this, their response is "we're a small business" or "we didn't get your mail."
The frequency of irritation and the use of that excuse should be a sign something is wrong. There is no way after 9 months, the only communication I get is a facebook reply saying "email us" and then MONTHS after I email for the 4TH time, it's "I'll take a look tomorrow" and no response again.
Maybe look into that. Maybe organize yourselves so that you attend to customers within a timely manner. I get if it's days or weeks, but no response for months AND YOU DEFINITELY GOT MY EMAIL AND RESPONDED TO IT.
Poor business. Look at your 2.6/5 rating. You'd think that's enough to want to improve yourselves.

I've been looking for a long time a nice pickguard for my 74's Precision bass and finally found it at Greasy Groove. They have a big choice of them, classic or fancy, i'm sure you will find what you want

Iâm not sure if this company is even legit⊠Iâve tried to reach them several times by email and phone to no avail. I sent a trace for a custom pickguard, which was received by them Jan 30th. Itâs now March 27th, two months later, and I havenât had a single response from them. Several emails and phone messages have been left in addition to the snail mail trace. If youâre looking at this company to do work for you, be warned.
REPLY: As indicated by the attached screenshots, my email to â[email protected]â placing the order, was sent on Jan 28th 2025. That was the same day I shipped the trace, which also contained details of placing the order.
That package was received at your Amherst, NS address at 10:38am on Jan 30th 2025.
When I got no response from either of those, I called the number listed on your website Feb. 10th 2025, and again Feb 24th 2025, leaving messages both times with my information and phone number.
The review is about the lack of communication on the part of Greasy Groove. The response to this review is the first communication Iâve received after trying all the above methods to reach you.
Now that I know you exist, I will send another email to the address and hopefully receive a reply. The title of the original email is âCustom P-Bass pickguardâ. If you can search your inbox for that, it contains all the details of the order request as well as attached photos.
Iâm sorry to have to leave you such a bad review, but from my perspective there was no acknowledgement of the order being received, even after several messages sent on my part. It was clearly the right thing to do, as I am now able to communicate with you. Thank you, I look forward to your response to the original order. I would still like to get this custom pickguard done.
