There is a Memorial Park with several monuments devoted to servicemen killed in duty. One for the largest black battalion in Nova Scotia from 1916-1920. One for troops killed in Afghanistan as well, some of whom I personally attended ramp ceremonies for. There's a beautiful tribute mural painted on the side of the building with park as well and interestingly enough an oak tree that began its life as an acorn in Vimy Ridge over 100 years ago! Thank you to everyone who helped facilitate this! 🙌
